Vice for Virtue

Your fingers, like fire,
Chill my skin to melting
Beneath you.

Like water to water
We merge,
Raging and foaming
In the bliss where ice and water
Meet flames;
Where your heated touch
Shatters my crystal surface
That you gazed through already
And decided to break.

Pulsing and raging
In the dark rapids
Flowing through my veins,
Pulsing and pounding
Against my helpless chest
As your hands trickle down
To where they stop.

And the roar that shivers through me
Ceases on my tongue
As your lips devour mine
And curl and churn
Around one another
Like our flowing limbs
That crash and swirl
With the breath you steal
From my drowning lungs.

And something bursts
And blazes
Stealing air and dazzling stars
Before my turning, blackened sight.

I try to catch my fleeing breath
In blissful desperation,
As you flow through me
While my rigid body
Melts to water over yours.
